In Te Ao Māori (Māori worldview), whakataukī (proverbs) are a rich source of meaning.

If you are wanting to seek greater understanding of Te Ao Māori then learning, and reflecting on whakataukī and connecting them to your context and conversation can be a small but significant step.

This is one of what will be a series of guided reflections on whakataukī that will be added to this website.
